Neal Everson, DO
Dr. Everson is excited to join Dr. Wade and Interior Alaska Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in providing exceptional orthopedic care to the people of interior Alaska. He has an interest in Sports Medicine including ACL reconstruction, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, anterior hip total joint surgery and MRI and CT guided knee and shoulder replacements and minimally invasive surgical techniques for various injuries and ailments. He also enjoys treating patients of all ages from the young to the elderly. He firmly believes that surgery be reserved for those that fail other nonoperative care and enjoys seeing patients heal with and without surgery. He performs total joint replacements, surgery for orthopedic trauma, hand surgery and arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, hip and knee. He operates at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and The Surgery Center of Fairbanks.
Dr. Everson and his wife are originally from the Fairbanks area, having grown up here in the interior. He went to North Pole High School (wife went to West Valley) and was later stationed at Fort Wainwright during his military service. He is excited to once again call Fairbanks his home. He is a proud father of five children and enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, snowboarding, basketball, scouting, church activities and the many talents of his children.
